We made tests in conditions where the variables can be controlled at least partly. We know that a characteristic related directly to the production, is the young potential, to more area of young, greater storing when that young transforms itself into pecoreadoras. Another one is the capacity to store syrup and to reduce the young area, during the nectar flow, this way the characteristic that we measured so is affected by the environmental conditions. Today we know that we also must select colonies that allow us to raise drones. In order to increase its production, we use ourselves the stimulation with sugar syrup, and they are added to the selected beehives, zanganera wax pictures. This way we increased the frequency of desirable drones for the free crossovers and they are carrying of half of the genes that will be transmitted to the descendants. On the other hand the drones have a special importance since to the haploide being (they present/display single a game of chromosomes) there is no reduction in the number of chromosomes in the process of formation of gametas. This way the total set of chromosomes of the drones happens to the spermatozoa and thus, in this step, genetic variation between the spermatozoa of each drone does not take place, this means that all the spermatozoa of a drone are genetically equal, which is very important for the works on genetic selection. Once the characteristic is defined that interests and its form to us of quantification makes the selection, that is the election of the individuals that will be used like ancestors. By means of selection, which we do is to increase the frequency of the alelos that interest to us. The answer to selection depends, therefore, to the superiority of the parents who we chose.

Hygienic Behavior: This behavior is transmitted by the queen a good genetic line, must be distinguished, by the resistance to the diseases. We have obtained big advances, in the fight against the diseases of the young, by means of methods of selection of queen bees by hygienic behavior. This it consists of the cleaning of cells containing pupas deads, and implies the affluent sequence of two defined activities:
A) - the recognition of the dead and uncapping young of the cells.
B) - the later extraction of the content.
This must be of total importance for the producer. The basic procedure consists in: kill the larvae, through capping cells, with a pin and after 24 hours we counted the number of cells cleaned by the bees. It is essential to evaluate the colonies several times. The manifestation of the hygienic behavior is indifferent of the population of the colony. Many beekeepers are confused and think that the remainders that the bees throw in front of the piqueras are indicating of the hygienic behavior. Nevertheless, these remainders are eliminated by bees older than the ones in charge to make hygienic behavior (fast removal of ill young). With this behavior we selected the greater resistance to the diseases.
Thus we raised our queens.
So that a queen can be used in a profitable productive system, we know that the conditions of raising are very essential, the feeding of the larvae of the future queens must be abundant, to have more royal jelly, of which she is going to consume. For it we counted on continuing beehives with excessive population and good capacity for the jelly production, these beehives, within a ordered system of the stimulating feeding and most important, in a zone where it exists abundance of polen natural.
At the present time, we transferred solely, larvae of between 6 and 12 hours of life. We limited the number real cells, that each continuator is going to feed. Thus we made sure an suitable nutrition the future queens. Soon we made an exhaustive selection of the cells, before the operculado one. We discarded all those that do not reunite to the requirements of feeding or size of the larvae. One second selection takes place, at the moment for removing it from the continuator.
For the fertilization of the queens, we used a nuclero double with six separated pictures by a partition, of this form, we have the amount sufficient of bees to make (cleaning of the queen). Very important, since this actua like a massage to obtain that the spermatozoa arrive at the ovariolas.
These are distributed in six parks of fertilization on towns of selected drones. We have beehives of selected queens producing of drones, in all the zone of influence. In addition that the climatic conditions are very favorable.
We put to the queen bees in the individual wood cages to the 17-18 days, when we have larvae and raises operculada. In order to obtain one better selection of the position and it discards more demanding of queens. Individual wood cages are used and seven young nurse bees are added to him, that will take care of and feed the queen until their liberation. The queens do not transmit the esporos of diseases, but if the honey, for that reason is that we used candy elaborated with inverted sugar and to this we added the corresponding dose to him of Fumagilina. If to this, we added a good genetic line to him, we can to obtain a queen of superior quality for the honey production.
